Could ‘Frankenstorm’ be a sign from God?

WND posted a must read article below on 10/28/12.

As the Northeast is still assessing the scope of destruction of life, property, and infrastructure left behind from Sandy, the WND news article below focuses on the very real possibility, that this historic storm are not just a random event caused by climate change.

Rather, this may be a sign from God for the United States to repent from turning away from Him, His Word, His Instruction, His Love, and His Son, Jesus Christ.

America’s eastern seaboard is in a state of emergency, stocking up on food and battening down the hatches as it anticipates a ferocious weather event some insurance companies would refer to as “an act of God.” But could the “Frankenstorm” – the feared combined forces of a wintery land storm with Hurricane Sandy – actually be a message from the Almighty? In Matt 7:24-27 Jesus states: “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: “and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.  “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: “and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

My prayer that in this time of temporal trouble in our mortal lives, people will realize that the material wealth that we build our lives around and surround ourselves with can be gone in an instant. In Luke 12:31-33, Jesus tells us to “seek first the Kingdom of God”, and to store up “a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys.”
