Are the Two Faiths of Islam and Christianity Compatible?

Islamic ViolenceWhen we see the news, the middle east always seems to be synonymous with violence and hatred. All in the name of Allah. Why is that? Doesn’t the five pillars of faith in the Muslim religion relay that Islam is a religion of peace?  Are the Christian and the Islamic faiths similar? Are they compatible (Chrislam) and is the God of the Bible the same god “Allah” of the Qur’an (Koran)? The short answer is no. That said, lets take a closer look at both statements of faith from the actual Bible and the Koran and other resources.
